She was joined by Upton in a Normaillot bikini, McGrady in a JMP The Label one-piece, and Teigen in a Saint Laurent bathing suit.
In a CBS This Morning interview with Drew Barrymore, King expressed disbelief at being featured, indicating it was something she never envisioned. She commended Sports Illustrated for showcasing diversity in age, race, and body types and requested minimal retouching on her photos.
