In a tragic event in Sea Mills, Bristol, three siblings, Fares Bash, 7, Joury Bash, 3, and Mohammed Bash, 9 months, were found deceased on February 18, after suffering stab wounds to their chests and necks at their home. During an inquest at the Avon Coroner’s Court, it was disclosed that there were also possible signs of asphyxia in the eldest sibling, Fares. Their father, Alfil Bash, deeply mourned the loss, paying tribute to his children’s unique qualities, notably Fares’ talents in football, singing, and math.
Following the incident, a 42-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of the children’s murder and later detained under the Mental Health Act due to non-life-threatening injuries she had sustained.
